The Task template wizard, step by step
Some tasks your team does the same way every time. Say every demo is followed by the same proposal e-mail, to every prospect. A task template holds that task once, with its name, whether it is a reminder or an event, whether it repeats and its draft message, so loading it into any task fills all of that in.
The Task template wizard, in Bamya CRM and Bamya Leads, makes one with you, a question at a time. You see what a task can carry without having to learn the task dialog first.
How it works
- Describe the task asks for its name, as it will read in a list, and optional Notes. Then choose A reminder, with or without a date chosen each time it is given, or An event, with How long it lasts. Ring the bell when it is due and Send an e-mail reminder when it is due decide how you hear about it.
- Does it repeat? asks Once, Weekly or Monthly. A repeating task comes back by itself when one is done.
- On Add a draft message, choose Add a draft and pick E-mail or LinkedIn under Where is it sent. Then say what the message should achieve, for example to send the proposal and ask for a short call next week, and press Write the draft.
- The draft opens in its own window. An e-mail gets a subject, a few short paragraphs and your sign-off. Change anything, then close it.
- Where your organisation has Bamya Call, Call assistance in real time asks No call or A Bamya Call.
- Press Save the task template.
What you get
A task template in Task templates, ready to load into any task or to add to a task collection. The draft fills in the person's first name and company for each task, so one template does for every prospect.
Right after saving, the wizard offers to give the new task to a company or a person straight away. Find them under Who is it about?, choose No date, By a date or An event, and press Open the task: New task or reminder opens on them with everything filled in, for you to check and save. Not now skips it.
Good to know
The AI writes from Your business details, your organisation's own description. If your business is not described yet, the wizard asks for a few sentences first.
The wizard is for administrators, in Menu > Wizards. Skip wizard keeps what you chose, and next time the wizard opens where you left it.
